Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SoftRezi (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction (e.g. 18) to use the Service, or have parental or guardian consent. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to abide by these Terms.

User Accounts

• •You must register and provide accurate, up-to-date information.
• •You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account.
• •You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Listings & Use of the Service

• •Users may post property listings (if allowed) subject to our listing guidelines.
• •Users agree that their listings are accurate, lawful, and do not violate third-party rights.
• •SoftRezi may remove or reject listings at our discretion.
• •Users may search, view, and contact landlords or tenants. SoftRezi is only a platform/facilitator, not a party to rental contracts between users.

Booking, Payments & Fees

• •If the Service enables bookings or payments, you agree to pay all fees and charges associated with transactions.
• •Payment processing may involve third-party payment providers which have separate terms.
• •We are not responsible for disputes or issues arising from payment providers.
• •We may modify fees, with prior notice.

Communications & Conduct

• •You agree to use the Service only for lawful, legitimate purposes.
• •You will not harass, spam, threaten, or violate rights of others.
• •You will not upload malicious content (viruses, malware).
• •You will comply with intellectual property rights and not infringe copyrights, trademarks, etc.

Intellectual Property

• •All content on SoftRezi (text, images, logos, software) is our property or licensed to us.
• •You may not reproduce, distribute, make derivative works, or commercially exploit our content except with our permission.
• •If you submit content (e.g. reviews, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, modify, etc.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• •The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• •We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or reliability of listings or user-provided data.
• •We are not responsible for property conditions, disputes between users, or the conduct of users.
• •To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (if any) in the past 12 months.
• •We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs or expenses (legal fees, etc.) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Termination

• •We may suspend or terminate your account or access for violation or suspected violation of these Terms or policies.
• •Upon termination, your rights to use the Service cease.
• •Provisions that should survive termination (e.g. liability, indemnification, intellectual property) remain in effect.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

• •These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of Uganda.
• •Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Kampala, Uganda.
• •You may also resolve disputes via arbitration or mediation if you prefer.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post updated Terms and indicate the effective date. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.

Miscellaneous

• •If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect other provisions.
• •These Terms (plus Privacy Policy and any other policies posted) constitute the entire agreement between you and us.
